Pandora Radio has a wide range of ad products in which all ad campaigns, from design to production, are managed by our very own in-house ad creative team. Our rich media ad campaigns are designed with both the advertiser and listener in mind. We create unique ad experiences that not only bring awareness to the advertiser’s brand but also highlights the user’s experience through engaging and accessible activities which in turn leads to higher engagement, interaction rates, and performance levels. Below are a few examples of rich media experiences I have designed and produced during my time at Pandora.

sponsored listening amplified rich media
The Sponsored Listening Platform is a reward-based interactive ad delivered within a Mobile Display placement. The user engages with a time-based or interaction-based ad to receive a reward of an hour of ad-free listening. With this product, I kickstarted the creation and design of 7 new Custom Rich Media ad products, ranging from interactive 360° photospheres and 180° panoramas to interactive (shake, swipe, press, drag) mini games. This large-scale project brought in high-spend clients and campaigns with minimum spends of $200,000 and has since expanded our team’s creative freedom and brought in more opportunities to advertise with advertisers across various verticals.

The Pandora Welcome Interstitial is a high-impact, full-screen mobile ad that appears when a listener first launches their Pandora app on their device. Advertisements incorporated into this space include, but are not limited to, standard display ads, animations, and interactive ads.

This ad unit gives listeners a less disruptive ad experience and allows advertisers to integrate their message seamlessly into a 1x1 (square) space and the core visual element of the Pandora platform.
